HELLO!

I am very excited to be your teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. This is my first year teaching at Merced High School, but I have taught for three years prior in Ohio. I was born in Southern California, graduated high school from Las Vegas, Nevada, and went to college in Ohio where I met my husband. We stayed in the Toledo area for six years before deciding to relocate closer to family, and we are excited to be back on the West Coast!

Besides my husband, I have a cat named Jethro (from NCIS), but I am a true dog person at heart. I love being outdoors and enjoy playing soccer, volleyball, and swimming. I am a huge fan of giraffes and the color green, and would love to write novels one day. I have about 50 unfinished novels in the works, but I am a published poet!
